think about the story line of CAREGIVER…i wish the writer/director did not willingly propagate/encourage female OFWs to leave their husbands, to go for separation and destruction of their families, all in pursuit of material wealth, a financially secured life. DAPAt, pina end nila ang movie with the husband realizing that his wife was right in deciding to stay in london, and that he also finally agreed to do so, to keep the family intact. the last scene, showing sharon hugging her son, happily posing in london is disgusting! how could they be truly happy when the padre de familia is gone? iniwan na nila? is that victory? something to celebrate on?
pretty soon, because of this movie, all strong pinays will be leaving their weak husbands…everybody will be separada.

naiisip ko lang…and i’m disgusted with all the hullabaloo bout the movie.

I saw it two nights ago despite my reservations I thought was an awesome film.
well tnks foor the abs cbn for making ds movie para malmn ng mga tao kung gano kahrapa ng trabaho nmn n caregiver sa ibang bansa sana makapulotan natin ng aral ito
I thought that the movie was really good but it wasn’t. I just wasted my 141 pesos watching that movie. There seemed to be something missing. It’s the last part of the movie.
wow!trailer pa lang nakakaiyak na
[...] Movie Sharon - Charles Kelly Charles left a comment in my post about the Sharon Cuneta’s Caregiver Movie.  The comment is actually a Caregiver Movie article so I decided to publish it here [...]
I thought the movie was well made. I would rather disagree with the previous reviews about the ending.

I’d like it because it made sense after Sharon read a letter from his grumpy old friend, Mr. Morgan about how to live life to the fullest, and have happiness. Always cherish those who care and loved you. Some people may take this matter for granted.

For all of the people who are working and sacrificing a lot to give something back to their families in the Philippines and other countries. This is one of the inspirational movie that they made.

Whoever is the writer made a lot of sense without putting any radical ideas that may destroy the plot. But it didn’t.

Also, for those people who are working hard that wanted to make their dreams come true, whether its reuniting a family member and bring them abroad. Or maybe giving some money to family in the Philippines, and making their lives and families better abroad. Let’s give them a job well done and appreciate what they are doing for all of us.

i want the summary of this story…
Not really a Sharon fan, but more of a loving husband to my wife. She wanted to watch this one for the longest time and we finally scored a dvd copy from her sister. Of course she wanted me to watch the movie with her… Really did not paid attention to the acting and all but paid more attention to the storyline. Napansin ko lang, the old man that Sharon was taking care of, as we found out later in the movie is rich or maybe well off. After all, he owns a mansion in the countryside, complete with a few servants. If that is the case, why would he settle to live in a nursing home and cared for by strangers? He can well afford to live in his own house, complete with servants to take care of him. Who would want to live in a nursing home? It just doesn’t make sense!!!
