Filipino Vigilance over the $14 Million Jewellery Robbery

The unconventional robbery happened in Graff Jewellery shop at Wafi City UAE shocked middle-east and neighbouring country. About 14 Million dollar worth of jewellery were stolen when 4 unidentified person raided the shop and rammed one of the Wafi gate to escape. The 50 Million dirhams diamond (around USD 14 million) gone in 105 seconds.. police arrived 2 minutes and 55 seconds after a Filipino called and reported the multi-million dollar robbery.

During the incident it is surprising that bystanders grabbed their video capabled mobile and start recording the heist instead of calling the police to report the crime. The police might have arrived early and catch the robbers that time:) .

Buddy had posted one of the actual video clip. If you are curios to see, you can take a peek. A video below is on different angle of that same incident.

the surveillance camera inside the jewellery shop. (sorry the video is tilted)

The clips makes me think of the the movies - Italian Job & the Ocean 13 .. eehehe…

2 weeks later, police have arrested 2 of the robbers and detained the other member in unidentified European country, this is the headline in the khaleej news and newspapers today and it is also reported that the stolen diamonds were returned back to the owner.
