Free Computer Skills Workshop in Kuwait: ITP-K
OFW’s in Kuwait:
ITP-K will hold a FREE PC Fundamentals seminar starting on July 4, at the POLO/OWWA office in Jabriya. The Computer Skills Workshop is scheduled every Saturday from 9:00am – 2:00pm.
The initial part of the seminar will include a brief background of the PC history, hardware parts, assembly, and troubleshooting.
Tutorial Topics will be:
Part I – Computer Fundamentals (3 sessions)
- Computer Fundamentals
- Desktop, Laptop, Notebook, and Hand-held, parts, and usage
- Computer Assembly, OS set-up, and initial configuration
- Troubleshooting
Part II – Computer or IT Organizations (3 sessions)
- The IT Organization
- Basic Networking using Windows XP or Vista
- Computer Servers Fundamentals
Part III – Internet Income Course (8 sessions)
Interested parties may contact the ITP-K secretariat at number: 6642-8189 for reservations. The seminar is scheduled every Saturday from 9am up to 2pm. The seminar is free of charge.
