Kuwait is ready to accept even a million OFW
Kuwait’s prime minister has said his government is ready to accept “even a million” more overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) to help his country implement $50 billion worth of development projects over the next 15 years, a Malaca?ang statement said on Saturday.
Sheik Nasser Al Mohammad Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Kuwait’s prime minister expressed his preference for more Filipinos workers when he signed several partnership agreements with President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo in Malacañang on Friday evening, said the statement.
“We welcome you to Kuwait to be your second home. We have so many projects now on board. We ask our brothers in the Philippines to help us — nurses, doctors, engineers, in all fields. This is what we are offering, no quota on Filipino workers going to Kuwait,” said Prime Minister Nasser, who is the most senior Kuwaiti official to visit the Philippines.

thanks for the link.. the expat limit of stay proposal 5.
i don’t think this proposal will push trhough.. let’s just wait and see..
