List of Free Web Based Messenger Service
If you are you working in a company that provides internet access to its employee most probably the the intant messaging system like yahoo messenger, skype or msn messenger is blocked in your network. One obvious reason why IT or management is blocking the chat or im services is for their employee to concentrate in their job.
I believe that they are in the position to do that and that obstructing the access of online instant messaging system is at the best interest of the company as a whole. With the yahoo messenger installed and running on workstation in office, the temptation to communicate with your cyberfriends and relatives is really great. As a result, it will eat up the productive time of the employee which he is supposedly using for his job assignments/ tasks.
On the other side of the coin, this kind of limitation is a pain in the neck of those who really wants to be in touch with their online friends even at work. “Responsible instant messaging” is their counter explanation and that they should have a way to communicate outside their office specially for emergency situations.
IT Admin might be blocking the yahoo messenger, skype or other instant messaging system but could this suffice their goal to prevent online messaging access on their network? Have they considered 3rd Party social instant messaging compatible for multiple instant messaging platform or the web-based im applications? IM Users on the other hand might choose using third party instant messaging software so they can access their favorite messaging system at work. These sites could be a work around so you can access yahoo messenger, skype, aol, etc.. even if they were blocked by the IT admin.
Whatever your intent is this list I compiled might be useful for IT Administrators and instant messaging fans out there. By the way if you are a gamer you could also check out FREE PSP GAMES DOWNLOAD and Download NDS Games Free. Links that will surely worth your bookmark.
