Migraine and the Health Service

Today is not a good day to me cause I’m experiencing the agony of migraine. I feel the intense pain on one side of my head, followed by nausea and vomiting. In Philippines I just sleep all day when I’m having a migraine but here I go see a doctor. Well I can do the same here sleep all day and probably my headache will soon disappear but I want to know how Kuwait provide the health care and service and at the same time get some professional advice on how am I going to deal with this migraine.

The clinic is just located nearby my office, I bought a 1KD (P168) stamp, the receptionist gave me number I got #522 and they are currently serving #519. After 1 hour atlast its my turn, after 20 mins of question and answer about what I feel and what I ate she provided me with the following prescriptions:

• Paracetamol 500mg Tablet (1 tablet as needed)
• Metoclopramide HCL 10mg Tablet ( 1 tablet 1 time daily before eating)
• Ibuprofen 400mg Tablet (1 tablet 1 times daily after eating)
• A very quick anti-nausea injection at my butt .. gee it really hurts..
• and a 3 day sick leave ( this is what I love ehehe..)

Overall the health service they provide is good - from receptionist , doctor and the pharmacist. Their health service is systematically structured via data networking thus providing a smooth and easy flow of medical attention and health care to public.
