Nintendo DS Lite Black and Crimson

Buying a DSLite is not in my original budget for this month but when I see this Nintendo DS Lite console in the display item somehow it triggered the old craving of mine to own one of this slim, lightweight Nintendo DS Lite.

Nintendo DS Lite was developed and manufactured by Nintendo. It is a touch dual-screenhandheld game console first launched in Japan on March 2, 2006. NDS Lite is capable of receiving Wi-Fi signals from other Nintendo DS Lite systems, the original Nintendo DS, Nintendo’s Wii and Wi-Fi access points. It reaches the sale to 51.78 Million units worldwide based on the data gathered as of March 31, 2008.

Different NDS colors are available. The nintendo ds lite ice blue, enamel navy, polar white (crystal white), coral pink (noble pink), onyx black (jet black), metallic rose, gloss silver, crimson/onyx and cobalt/black. Among these colors, Nintendo DS Lite Black and White edition are my candidates. In the end I chose the crimson dslite. Though black is beautiful, for me black is very common so I opted for crimson edition.

The Crimson/Onyx Nintendo DS Lite was originally released in bundle with Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day but was started selling it individually since October, 2007.

I bought the console without bundled game since the crimson bundled with Brain Age 2 is no longer offered, I now have the console but what is the use of it if I don’t have nds game card/cartridge to play. Browsing the NDS game card display, I chose the NDS best-selling game “New Super Mario Bros.”

New Super Mario Bros. is the first original side-scrolling platform game starring Mario since Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. This is 2nd best-selling (14.16 Million copies) NDS games as of March 31, 2008 following Nintendogs that have sold 18.67 million copies (combined version)

Above you’ll see the New Super Mario Bros in action. Playing the game I feel young once again.. I’m actually in the World 8 now.. in 3 days I think I will finish this game so I should better go to Hawally to buy the R4DS card so I can play free download nds games.
