Senate Bill 1315 Approved
It turns out that the moment of truth of the Veteran’s Benefits Enhancement Act (S. 1315) ended up pretty good. The United States Senate has approved the verteran’s benefits law benefiting more than 18,000 Filipino war veterans both in Philippines and Washington.
Since the S. 1315 bill passed the US Senate, it will now move to the US Congress for debate and floor vote. Once the proposed law passes the muster, it will then go the President George W. Bush for his signature.
The approval of this bill will benefit Filipino war veterans of World War II residing in the US and in the Philippines to receive monthly pension and other benefits from the US.
