SSS Contribution Inquiry System
If you can’t get your SSS Contribution detail via SSS Online Inquiry System because SSS is doing their system maintenance work, you can also try their Text-SSS short messaging service which is available for Globe, Smart and Talk ‘N Text subscribers. Text fee per inquiry is P2.50.
Text-SSS is a SMS-based information service system that allows SSS members to inquire about their number of contributions, status of loan applications, salary loan payment period and loan balances using text messaging.
This another option to get SSS information without visiting an SSS office.
To receive updates on contributions, the member should key in the following text message, filling in the appropriate information for SSS number and date of birth:
SSS (space) CONTRI (space) SS NUMBER (space) DATE OF BIRTH [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 288 (Smart/ Talk ‘N Text) or 2931 (Globe).
To determine the status of a member’s salary loan application, the member should key in the following text message, filling in the appropriate information for SSS number and date of birth:
SSS (space) SLSTAT (space) SS NUMBER (space) DATE OF BIRTH [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 288 (Smart/ Talk ‘N Text) or 2931 (Globe).
To get information on salary loan payment period, the member should key in the following text message, filling in the appropriate information for SS number and date of birth:
SSS (space) LPERIOD (space) SS NUMBER (space) DATE OF BIRTH [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 288 (Smart/ Talk ‘N Text) or 2931 (Globe).
To get information on loan balance, the member should key in the following text message, filling in the appropriate information for SS number and date of birth:
SSS (space) LOANBAL (space) SS NUMBER (space) DATE OF BIRTH [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 288 (Smart/ Talk ‘N Text) or 2931 (Globe).
Please Note:
- The member should ensure that the SSS number keyed-in is 10 digits long, and does not contain any hyphens. (e.g. 0123456789)
- Date of birth used is June 7,1965 for example should be keyed-in as 06071965 to follow the month-day-year format.

I just tried the SMS system. I’m using Globe. It gave me the message - “Sorry this service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.”
SSS website is also super slow.
Last few months was so easy to check online but these days supppper walang makita.
anyways, we hope problem would be fixed !!!!!!

How much longer are we going to wait? Why don’t you just leap back to your original inquiry system that is hassle free and very convenient. It seems that Philippine government agencies
of today are becoming more and more inconsistent…if this is the kind of example you show to us, then their’s no doubt our country will never attain prosperity.

hand computed if you do not have yet the complete computer data of it. I started working with Centro Escolar University Nov, 1963 and retired June 16, 2008. I need this for my Philhealth application.
I am a senior citizen and I think government offices must consider things like this. Like:that SSS and Philhealth has a connection somehow, because the print-out of the SSS Contribution is required by Philhealth thus automatically when the an SSS retiring member applies for SSS pension he should be given a copy of the complete contribution to SSS.
I am thinking about the old, computer illeterate Filipinos who are being told by the frontliner in the Philhealth office to go to the internet cafe near their of office, contact SSS and download the form. Very inconsiderate treatment of the Filipino citizens.
