Things you should know from Noah’s Ark

In the Bible on Genesis 6:14-16, Noah’s Ark was described as a large barge constructed of wood and sealed with bitumen with an overall dimensions were of atleast 450 feet long, 75 feet wide and 45 feet high built with three interior decks. A “window” appeared to be constructed around the top.

In search for the story and evidence of the Noah’s Ark there are people who dedicate themselves in search for any clue or solid proof of the existence of the ark, they call themselves as Arkeologist..

For Christians, this is one example of the miracles of God and faith is the answer, scientists on the other hand see it as another jigsaw puzzle waiting to be answered one day by providing a solid proof though expedition at Mt. Ararat in eastern Turkey.

There are still things to be known behind the Noah’s Ark story, what I’m about to share today are the 11 things that you might not know about the wooden ark. These 11 things are not about whether or not the ark really existed or the global flood really happened. The following are some of simple things how this story can relate to our ordinary life.

Here it goes, please take your precious moments to read and absorb :).. thanks.

  1. Don’t miss the boat.
  2. Remember that we are all in the same boat.
  3. Plan ahead. It wasn’t raining when Noah built the Ark.
  4. Stay fit. When you’re 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
  5. Don’t listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
  6. Build your future on high ground
  7. For safety’s sake, travel in pairs.
  8. Speed isn’t always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
  9. When you’re stressed, float a while
  10. Remember, the Ark was buildt by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
  11. No matter the storm, when you are with God, there’s always a rainbow waiting.

Have you watched Evan Almighty? It’s also about building an ark. Imagine God asking a US politician to build an ark.
we have the same beliefs with the Noah’s Ark…these are nice points to ponder :)
:) yes.. I’ve watched it.
and what I learned in that movie is the A.R.K
How can we make world a better place?

An ARK can make a world a better place.

A
Random act of
Kindness

thanks for dropping by shiok..

hi rianne, thanks.
we learned lessons from the past..:)
im happy that you like it as well…

have a pleasant afternoon.

Act of random kindness is seldom done but like a flutter of butterfly it can have a big impact not only on one person but to the bigger scale of things. Have you watched the movie “paying it forward”? It has a darker setting than Evan Almighty but it depicts the same value.

I love Noah’s ark stories back when I was a kid and was forced to attend sunday bible studies :) Thank you for reminding me of their lessons once again.
