NFL Week 4: Green Bay Packers vs Tampa Bay Bucs Live Coverage
This is one of those games that statistically, looks to be a fairly even contest. Both teams come in with a 2-1 record and in most of all of the categories that matter, they seemed equally matched. So how do you look at a game like this? You look down the death of the roster and see where the teams can crack each other’s shields.
The Green Bay Packers certainly haven’t regretted handing over the offense to a new quarterback this season, Aaron Rodgers, especially in light of Brett Favre’s un-retirement. Green Bay Packers has been happy with their decision and have a 2-1 record to show for it, despite a loss at home last weekend.

In Dallas, even though Rodgers was held without a touchdown pass in a 27-16 loss on Sunday night threw for 290 yards, ran for a score and has remained without an interception this season. He’s seventh in the NFL with a 102.9 passer rating.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers finds themselves in a similar situation as Quarterback Brian Griese, who supplanted Jeff Garcia as the starter after Week 1 looked to take the team all the way. He threw for just 160 yards in a 24-9 win over Atlanta on Sept. 14, but more that doubled that total last Sunday at Chicago. Griese, who was traded by the Bears, led an 11-play, 79-yard drive in the final two minutes that was capped by the tying touchdown. He then orchestrated a 12-play, 90-yard drive in overtime to set up the winning field goal at Soldier Field.
So with both Teams finding their inner football spirit, they each have a task at hand to find a way to win on Sunday. Tampa Bay Bucs needs more consistency from Griese, play with a bit more poise as they are one of the most penalized teams in the league and make better use of Graham, Dunn who were born to run. As far as the Packers go, they need to get Ryan Grant on track after his injury, protect Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and find the tight end, Tory Humphrey and let him stretch the field.
When it is all said and done, the pundits are split on this one but think that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers might have the edge at home.
