What the World Might Be when there are no Filipinos Around..

Have you ever imagine a world without a Filipino?

If you are from a search engine who arrive here accidentally, pause and think for a moment when there is no Filipino around. Regular readers that I can count with my fingers..:), slow down your blog hopping for a while and let your brain analyse the most probable situation when there is no OFW around….

No Filipino housekeepers, nannies and caregivers in homes and nursing institutions.
No Pinoy physicians, nurses and other health professionals.
No Filipino speech pathologists, occupational and physical therapists!
No Filipino Filipino web designers and web site managers.
NO Pinoy restaurants, supermarkets, hotels staff
No Filipino bands and singers.
No Filipino sales staff and seafarers in US
No Filipino workers in Middle Eastern countries’ oil industry
NO Filipino secretary, clerical staff and translaters in UN, Geneva
and the list of crucial positions goes on vacated due to missing Pinoy workers..

Fr. Jess E. Briones of inquirer with “A Day Without Filipinos” explain this in detail, an article where the major role of our caliber OFW’s were explained in unusual way. How some countries disregard our work competitiveness..
