Some information about Zabeel Park. The Bur Dubai area plays host to some of Dubai’s biggest visitors.

Enormous container ships unloading their cargo are a regular sight at Port Rashid, as are oil tankers undergoing maintenance at the Dubai Dry Docks.

The port and dry dock is located at the end of the Jumeirah Beach Road and almost acts as a border-post between that area and tits more urban neighbour Bur Dubai.

Just to the north of Bur Dubai is Dubai’s newest public green space.

The Dh180m Zabeel Park was opened in late 2005 and is split into two sections, spanning both sides of the Shaikh Zayed Road.

The 220,000 square metre park has quickly become a favourite spot for families.
